10 new jobs people will have by 2030

Today's youth face the tedious task of preparing for a career that may not yet exist. Choosing a major in college is hard enough, with the distinct possibility that much of the work in your field will soon fade into the background. Cathy N. Davidson, co-director of the MacArthur Foundation's annual digital media and learning competitions, claims that 65% of kids will end up with jobs that have Yet to be created.

We will not only see new jobs in the future, but we will also see many old jobs become obsolete. In his talk at the American Enterprise Institute,  Bill Gates predicted that in just 20 years, many current jobs will be replaced by software automation. Gates specifically highlighted the danger to low-skill jobs, but added that "labor demand for many skill sets will be substantially lower."

 

The thought of losing a job to robots is worrisome, but not for all professions. An article in The  Economist looked at the likelihood that certain jobs will remain in the future, even high-paying ones. Among those most likely to disappear or see significant job losses are telemarketers, accountants/auditors, retailers, technical writers, real estate agents, and word processors.

So what will replace high-paying, life-support jobs?

A 2020 article published by FuturistSpeaker.com, listed 162 jobs of the future, highlighting opportunities including atmospheric water harvesters, fear containment managers, and drone motion optimizers. According to Sparks & Honey CEO Terry Young, many of the jobs of the future are the result of a "collaborative economy." “Increasingly, we have platforms like online payment systems to transfer funds and social media to enable collaboration, and many of these jobs are about bringing people together,” he said. New York-based advertising company Sparks & Honey, which tracks trends in the workplace, released a list of presentations. 20 professions will exist in the future.

These consultants will give advice on everything from wellness to time management so workers can prove their worth to employers.

4. Microbial Balancer

As concerns about dangerous bacterial agents grow and new forms of bacteria are discovered, trained balancers will be needed to assess their microbial composition.

5. Same agent

We have agents for a wide variet
y of celebrities, so even internet meme stars will be represented in the future.

6. Big Data Doctor

Big data is already having a growing impact in many industries, and healthcare could be next, with a new class of physicians who deliver treatments based on a patient's biographical profile and personal data.

7. Crowdfunding specialist.

 

With the rise of crowdfunding sites such as Kickstarter and IndieGoGo, there is a growing need for expert advisors to help fundraisers advance their cause.

8. The work of the future specialist/recruiter.

The rapidly changing job market won't slow down anytime soon, so professionals who specialize in the careers of the future will be of immense value to job seekers.

9 Disorganizer/Corporate Destroyer

The corporate disruptor will be called upon to shake things up in companies whose systems and processes are outdated.

New technologies bring new privacy challenges, so in the future, people will need expert help to manage and protect their digital information.
